Will replacing the battery on my laptop solve my overheating/freezingissues?

Buying a cooling fan dock, using the laptop in a well ventilated area, are ways to keep the laptop temps down. Changing your battery won't affect the amount of heat it generates.

I would buy a Cooling Pad.Your computer automatically freezes(or shuts off) as a safe-guard so the heat wont corrupt anything in your computer, prevent fire :P

Google speedfan install free version then look it up on youtube follow instructions from there

If you're no longer under warranty, find a guide to clean your fan and exhaust gate(s). Dust kills.

It sounds like a processor is going bad.. how old is your laptop?
