Will replacing the battery on my laptop solve my overheating/freezingissues?

Buying a cooling fan dock, using the laptop in a well ventilated area, are ways to keep the laptop temps down. Changing your battery won't affect the amount of heat it generates.

Don't think its anything to do with the battery.

I would buy a Cooling Pad.Your computer automatically freezes(or shuts off) as a safe-guard so the heat wont corrupt anything in your computer, prevent fire :P

If you're no longer under warranty, find a guide to clean your fan and exhaust gate(s). Dust kills.
