What exactly is a task killer app? I know it saves battery, but how does it work?

Apps work in the background even after you are finnished with them. It just kills them.

Its a good app to use as a widget on your homescreen so you can see apps being used.

It lets u kill tasks while their runnin that way ur battery is saved for texts and calls
