How many days should you wait to call and follow up after a job interview?
Gem555 on March 16, 2010, 3:54 am
I think you should just let them call you. Three weeks if you must call.

At my work calling up after an interview, will only tell u what's been decided. Doesn't help much
Hoyac on March 16, 2010, 8:24 am

I a mgr @ a restaurant,when I hire I call the applicant back to hire,not wait for them 2 callback
Austin512 on March 16, 2010, 2:20 pm
Well yeah, you give them time to call you back, but after like a week, don't you wanna know?
Gem555 on March 16, 2010, 6:48 pm
It's quite obvious after a week and they haven't called back. And I NEVER call the follow ups back
Austin512 on March 16, 2010, 8:26 pm
Ppl who call back w/o getting a call back just come off too desperate for me, and I hire ppl
Austin512 on March 16, 2010, 8:28 pm
I'm a manager at a theater, and follow-up after interview doesn't help, may differ @ other places
Hoyac on March 16, 2010, 8:40 pm
I was always told follow ups look really good because its showing them you really want it.
Gem555 on March 16, 2010, 11:15 pm
It kinda does the opposite to b honest. Think bout the jobs u got, u knew within mayb a cpl days
Austin512 on March 17, 2010, 12:50 am
I knew right away. They hired me on the spot.
kelbat on March 17, 2010, 2:16 am
Hassle them til u get an interview, it really helps, but after the interview, not so much
Hoyac on March 17, 2010, 4:03 am
She even told me before I interviewed that she hasn't even looked at other applications so it would
Gem555 on March 17, 2010, 4:05 pm
Probably take a little while. That's why I'm asking how long a while is.
Gem555 on March 17, 2010, 4:06 pm
And a lot of jobs have to interview a certain number of people before they hire.
Gem555 on March 17, 2010, 4:09 pm
I wait 2 days
jokersmile on March 17, 2010, 5:03 pm
"Hassling"ur future employer for an interview that u already came n & applied 4,doesnt make sense
Austin512 on March 17, 2010, 6:08 pm
Plus u already said its been a week since ur int,so the woman told u ovr week ago she hadn't hired
Austin512 on March 17, 2010, 6:11 pm
Following up one time after an interview isn't "hassling" in my eyes. And no, it hasn't even
Gem555 on March 18, 2010, 9:10 pm
Been a week yet
Gem555 on March 18, 2010, 9:11 pm
Well then let me tell u from someone who hires and fires ppl. It is Hassling the employer if u have
Austin512 on March 19, 2010, 4:04 pm
